Over the coming weeks and months I’ll be posting assorted ramblings on personal training, mainly on matters relating to nutrition and exercise, though I do reserve the right to wander completely off topic if something grabs my attention
I’ll cover my own diet and exercise programs too, so you can see what I’m up to and how I apply the techniques and information. Hopefully you’ll all find something of interest and/or amusement as the year unfolds
When I started my first blog with almost exactly the same paragraph that you’ve just read (thank you cut and paste) earlier this year I did anticipate a somewhat erratic posting rate; given that I’m prone to shameless and often lengthy bouts of apathy relating to any writing projects that I undertake (Chloe at Factory Gyms has been waiting patiently for at least 6 weeks past my agreed deadline for the ‘Train Like A Bodybuilder’ posts for the Factory Gyms blog that I promised her). Having said that even I hadn’t expected such a poor overall output though
Thanks entirely to the impressive motivational and client management skills of SEO Guru Mr Scott Heron I’m going to turn over a new leaf and publicly commit here to weekly posts – any deviation from this is entirely attributable to the aforementioned bouts of apathy and is in no way a reflection on Mr Heron
In a shocking and bold opening move I’ve even planned out a few posts ahead of time! You can look forward to some clear, concise and doubtless thrilling information on workout structure and the often neglected areas of warming up and cooling down. I’m going to include a basic guide to stretching, featuring the first ever YouTube video footage of yours truly in action
Obviously I’ve no idea how I’ll follow such an impressive opening flurry. Please feel free to forward me any suggestions
Comments are most welcome, encouraged even! Feel free to leave feedback and ask questions, suggest future blog topics
and generally get involved!
Cheers
Matt
P.S. I make no apology for my excessive use of smilies
– happiness is a most under practiced art
Great stuff Matt!
I shall look forward to these training videos, need all the help I can get to remove my horrific beer gut!
Cheers
Scott
Site’s looking great Matt! Now get your blog on. No slacking.
Drew
Both site and you are looking well mate – I know as much about body building as I do about dark matter – but I enjoy your inane ramblings. All the best from ull!
